This post was meant for yesterday, but i just havent gotten around to posting it till right now before school. So this outfit was yesterdays outfit.

Last night I was at school for back to school night, trying to promote my club and a lady came up to my stand. She saw the skirts that I made as examples and offered me a job to teach her kids how to sew. Woohoo! I gotta job offer! Im not sure if im gonna take it though because I was never really formally taught how to sew so I would probably fail at teaching someone else. Maybe i'll take one of those sewing for dummies book out at the library and brush up on the terminology. Oh, almost forgot, sorry for the slightly blurry pictures. I didnt focus the camera well and didnt notice until I uploaded the pictures to the computer. I got lazy and didnt want to take the pictures again. But I have learned my lesson and I will make sure to focus it better next time.

Picture Day

Today was Picture Day at school. I hope I didn't blink :)

I really hate school. Every year, you always have that one class that you really like, the class that you get excited for when you wake up in the morning, the reason why you go to school. Sadly, I don't have that class this year. It's usually art class, but this year i'm in AP art, so its really intense. This is gonna such a long year.

So, I got a new camera this weekend. I thought it would be a good time to upgrade to a dslr camera. It is a Pentax k-x. I'm starting to venture into the world of photography, however, I realized that I know nothing. Anyone have any advice on photography for beginners? I want to be able to set all the stuff on the camera myself and not rely on the auto function. I mean, it is pointless to get an slr camera if you only use the auto function. Hopefully i'll get better and hopefully you guys will get start seeing better pictures.
