it's supposed to be fall but i just had to pull out this dress one last time especially since it was HOT!
usually i'm really excited for fall but for some reason this year...not so much :P maybe once the leaves start changing colors and halloween gets closer, i'll get more in the mood.

I discovered that I have a sad lung capacity :P haha i closed my eyes, blew as hard as i could, opened my eyes, and saw a half full dandelion -_- but hey lets make it an optimistic moment and say that it was half EMPTY that i blew half of the dandelion seed thingys off :D
So i really wanted to show you guys these shorts' butt pockets but i set the ISO a little too high so the pics came out grainy and yucky :( but anyways theyre heart pockets! so freaking cute and are without a doubt my new fav shorts! too bad that summers over though :(

There's something about this time of year that gets me on a Taylor Swift marathon. I feel like she always has a new album out around this time so the smell of crisp air is making me reminisce those times. I don't really follow her but hey, maybe she has some new songs coming soon? I mean I don't think it would be the same for me if I didn't hear her songs on the radio as I drive to school in the morning.

So the funniest/dumbest thing happened yesterday. I was in strategic design class (adobe and computer stuff class) and the teacher asked this girl to press F12 on the computer. Instead, she types "f" 12 times. My teacher thought it was the funniest and cutest thing ever so he rewarded her! Although it was pretty funny, I thought it was also kinda dumb. Haha so I guess if I want to be rewarded next time, I should just do something kinda dumb? :P

As all of you probably know, I'm a senior in high school. One of the things that i'm looking forward to most are events like homecoming, senior banquet, senior breakfast and PROM! :D So of course i'm always looking at dresses :P I love these party dresses, maxi dresses, and evening dresses!

 I know there's the whole Parsons vs. FIT debate but for those of you who know stuff or have experience, which do you think is better? My one art classmate told me that FIT is better and harder to get in and another friend said that Parsons is the best. She actually wanted to go to that school so badly and was so confidant she could get in that she only applied to Parsons. She definitely has guts. I could never do that, I am all about having a backup to the backup and a safety to the safety :P

 Also, for those of you who have submitted a portfolio to an art school, is it better to give them the maximum amount they ask for. My friend also said that if their maximum is 20, you should give them 20 because you have better chances of getting a scholarship. I'm so confused! :P

There is nothing better than hanging out with your best friends. A neighboring town always has a Labor Day carnival and it's basically our tradition to go now. It's actually kinda funny because we almost always do the same thing. We always get chicken o's (so yummy! ^-^), cotton candy and funnel cake and we sit somewhere and just talk for hours. Since its the last "event" before school starts, the majority of our talk consists of reminiscing the past years, complaining about going to school, the occasional *nudge nudge *wink wink...soooo....whats going on with you and that guy?? haha :P 

I think when I go college, what i'm going to miss most are days like these. Hanging out with your best friends all day, running around playing with sparklers and having a sleep over without the sleeping part because we end up talking all night :)

oh and btw, you probably can't notice because I chickened out at the last minute, but i finally got a haircut :D only 3 inches though because i really cant bare to part with my long hair!

BEST. DAY. EVER!

OMG! So I have three extremely exciting things to tell you guys. The first is that I got my power back! yay!! haha after more than 100 hours of no power, the moment it came back on, I ran to the tv :P  The second thing is that I got accepted into the Teen Vogue Fashion University!! I am so freaking excited!!! I am counting down the days till I get to go to nyc and see Michael Kors, Alexander Wang, Betsey Johnson and Jason Wu!! And lastly, I was featured as one of MTV's top style bloggers of the week for the knee sock theme :D
I seriously think this is one of the best days ever :)
