We fell in love alone on a stage in the reflective age

Wahh I'm still recovering from my spending spree this morning :( This shoe design class is seriously killing my wallet! I went to the garment district this morning to buy leather for the inner and outer skins of my boots. I'm making a pair of chelsea style booties and I'm going to be covering the front half of the boot with leather scalloping sewn together to mimic dragon scales. Right now I'm still working on the pattern of the shoes and boy oh boy is it difficult! I feel like I will always be in a state of confusion in this class for the entire semester. Haha but yea I think I'm going to set my goal low and hope that I can at least fit my foot in the shoes once they're done!

  7. damn, I just wrote you a rather long comment but it simply vanished :| anyway, I wanted to say making your own booties sounds like one of the most exciting things to do and I obviously can't wait to see the final result! and don't worry, I know you can do it :)
oh, by the way, I can't help it but your new dress reminds me of a cosy nightgown. it's the very first thought I had when I saw it, hehe. and I would totally wear something like that as a nightgown during chilly autumn and winter months :P
