Oh gosh it's been a while! I don't know if you guys remember since it's been a while since I posted but remember that internship I applied to a few weeks ago?? Well...I got it!! :) I'm working with a leather accessories designer who specializes in leather harnesses. I know what you're thinking, and the answer is no...I am not a secret BDSM enthusiast :P Leather harnesses do have connotations of BDSM and yea people who participate in the activity could be purchasing her products but I believe the main customers purchasing this designers items are for fashion purpose. Now that we've cleared that up, because not surprisingly, I've had to explain that to all my friends, I can tell you about how awesome these leather harnesses are! I'm going to keep where I'm interning at private for now but she's pretty much the leading leather harness designer right now so I'm sure it'd be easy to figure her out just with google :P I started the internship 2 weeks ago and I get to make harnesses from start to finish since she hand makes all her pieces in her studio! Its seriously so awesome and now that I know the process of making harnesses, I can't wait to try to make some of my own since I have a pile of leather sitting in my workspace! So hopefully in the next few posts, I'll have a harness of my own to show you guys! :D Yup so that about explains my life in the past 2 weeks of me being MIA! I have several posts planned for this week though so prepared to be bombarded with new ooey gooey fun stuff ;P
