brighter than the sun


The sun has finally come out and it is absolutely beautiful outside. I love how everything's greener and the air feels so crisp after it rains. I drove by my high school today and on the school info board, it said that there's 21 more days till school starts again. I can't believe how fast this summers flown by, i'm not ready to head back to school :P i haven't soaked up enough summer and carefreeness yet...and i definitely haven't gotten any shopping done! me oh my i have no idea what im gonna wear on the first day of school! hmm i always have so much trouble finding the perfect back to school outfit. My friend was telling me how she likes to dress conventionally on the first day of school. She likes to stay within the dress code (not that anyone ever follows it :P) so she can make a good first impression with all her new teachers. I've never thought about that before, but she makes a really good point. what do you guys think would be a cute yet conventional outfit for the first day of school?

    love the outfit. when maxi dresses first started to move in to style, i wasn't really a fan. but after months and months of seeing them, i think they're actually pretty cute for the summer. hopefully they're still in next year so i can give em a try XD
    anyway, as for the conventional outfit: my favorite pair of dark wash skinny jeans, white v-neck, long necklace with pretty pendent and, of course, a pair of my converse (preferably high tops with superheros on them :))

    I would be wearing something unique but still simple for my first schoolday :)
    Don't wear new shoes cuz I garentee you, you'll kill your feet. Instead, wear comfy clean shoes like Converse, it matches with everything :)
    Also keep it 'less is more' style ;)

    i love how you put together soft and in the beige/white color family outfit. so relaxed. :)

    i usually go for the "conventional" dress code during the first day of school just so i dont scare people away if ever my taste is a little bit too much for them. haha!

    I am so old....but you know when I started my senior year of high school it was 1998 and overalls were in. I wore a black t-shirt and khaki overalls underneath...now I would not wear them even it my life depended on it! Can't wait to see what you'll wear :)

    For the first week of school, where old stuff that you already have and then bust out with the new stuff on the 2nd or 3rd week when everyone's already gone through all their new stuff. Lovely neutral outfit by the way and looking forward to what you'll wear. I had to wear a uniform for 12 years but this is what my niece did.
