make believe


I'm starting to deal with college applications and they are a BUTT :P As you all know, I want to be a fashion designer so of course i'm going to be applying to Parsons and FIT and all the other art schools. Does anyone, that has gone through the process or go to any art school, have any advice? :D

    I know it can be a pain in the ass but just be clear with what you want and have a portofolio of your work (a blog is a great thing to add too)

    I'm going through the same thing, and so is my friend. Shes done a lot of research on what parsons wants for the parsons challenge and portfolio, and they mainly really want to see your creativity.. I went to fashion design already and wanted to show them all the things i know.. but they really just want to see your creativity and just how far it can go..

    lovely dress.. best of luck on your applications.. all I can say is make sure that your portfolio or sketch book required to enter rocks!.. go above and beyond on that... 'cause basically that's what matters the most.. your ability to translate your ideas into designs, your creativity and innovation as a desiger. Show them what you can do.

    College applications are a pain! I didn't go to an art school, so I don't have any advice other than make sure you've sent in all of the application fees and the deposits! They get aggravated if that stuff isn't included! ;-)
