Dress-Forever 21 / Shoes-Forever21
~
So this is officially my first legit hurricane ever! I just spent all morning helping my parents move everything from the basement upstairs in case the power goes out and the basement floods. I'm crossing my fingers that the power won't go out but if it does, i can confidently say that we are prepared :D haha my mom was kinda freaking out for the hurricane, going around buying supplies like the world's gonna end. but i have to say, i am kind of excited. I can now efficially say that i have experienced a hurricane on the northeast coast. Now that i think of it, this week has sorta been out of the ordinary. With the earthquake in the beginning of the week and now the hurricane, theres been a lot of firsts for me.

such pretty pictures! I love the lighting, and the dress is so pretty! The same is going on here (I live in Connecticut near NYC). My mom is having a heart attack, and grilling lots of chicken in advance in case we can't cook or something like that. Our fridge is filled with macaroni, tuna fish, and every type of cold cut, drink, and vegetable you can imagine. Needless to say, I don't think we're going to starve!

ReplyDeleteYou'll probably need a raincoat and galoshes! We saw all the flooding in Manhattan this morning--I hope you're doing all right where you are. This is one time I'm glad we don't live on the east coast. Kansas doesn't get many hurricanes. ;-)
